I’ve spent half of my life with this man! Would you like to hear our story? I’m sharing it over at Paper Coterie today! And, speaking of Paper Coterie…they JUST (as in a few minutes ago) announced that they have negotiated better shipping rates with UPS!!! Yay! I know that some of you had voiced concerns over their shipping prices in the past…and being that they are such a new company, there wasn’t a whole lot that could have been done up until now. I for one am super happy to hear that they will be going down starting next week! So now you can go and order one of those fancy new Gallery Photo Books I was telling you about the other day…
Also worth noting today is that the eighth installment of the Thoughtfully Irrelevant collaboration is up today! One of my favorite things about this collaboration with Corinne is not the connections that are obvious between my image and her thoughts…but rather the new story that is created when they are combined! That is definitely the case this week. Aaaannndd…Corinne has a lovely new blog and if you’re looking for places to visit, you should most certainly stop over. She is a most beautiful hostess!
And lastly but certainly most close to my heart…a friend of mine…one just like you and me whom I met through Flickr and blogging and online sharing…is currently preparing for a stem cell transplant. This is a massive procedure which will involve scrupulous attentiveness to remaining germ free for the next year of her life. Can you imagine…GERM FREE??? She has described the completely not-normal life she has committed to for the next year in order to engage in the fight of her life on her blog. Laurie is an amazing soul and I would really appreciate it if you could send her some positive vibes, prayers, good thoughts…or whatever it is that you believe might help. Thank you!
