Scenes From A Friday…

Today has been filled with a lot of life and a lot of goodness, wrapped up in very ordinary moments. A little crafting, some knitting, school, new books in the mail, reading cozily, checking out new patterns on Quince, talking with friends…these are the makings of a very good day in this home. And today, I am totally celebrating the ease of which a string of ordinary moments can add up to make a day downright extraordinary in this house. These little moments, these quiet luxuries, and these beautiful little beings that have been entrusted to my care…it is all so much, so very very much! And I am so grateful!

Ho yes! you had a happy day too!

Nothing like a happy day to make the rest all fade away. Glad yours was special.

I love Doodle Stitching. Her directions finally helped me figure out french knots!

Happy Friday, Happy Weekend to you!

Love your images. I have a question. I am completely a homebody, and with the birth of my son just 9 days ago, I am enjoying some time off from work, and being at home with my now two kiddos. I don’t venture out of the house much right now unless my husband is with me. My husband is not much of a homebody. What about your hubby? How do you strike a balance of being home and being active, yet avoiding a “slump” or boredom?

These are beautiful glimpses into your daily life, Maegan! And that does, indeed, sound like a very fine day indeed. I look forward to seeing your doodle stitching – I bought the same book for a good friend for Christmas and she’s whipped up some amazing pictures already!

hi sweet girl, you’re going to LOVE LOVE LOVE Squam. I’ll see you in the fall….

A perfect reflection: I am totally celebrating the ease of which a string of ordinary moments can add up to make a day downright extraordinary in this house.

I agree!
