Emotive…

There was drizzle. There was fog. It was only 4pm and getting darker and darker, moment by moment. It was cold…it is, of course, November. Maybe I was just drunk off peppermint tea and the smell of a Christmas candle burning to warm the house, but I found the scene utterly romantic! Perhaps, it is even my anticipation for Breaking Dawn speaking through my lens! Whichever the reason, these images capture my mood as of late. A mood I’ve been struggling to get around without seeing its unique beauty. Does your lens ever show you something about yourself that you hadn’t noticed…but once you see your images, it hits you like the brick wall you’ve been running into repeatedly without ever looking up? Like you’ve just been saying to it “oh excuse me…let me get out of your way.” But if you had looked, you’d have seen that what you thought was this flat, obtrusive wall in your way was some beautifully poetic piece of art. Have you ever seen one of your less than desirable moods as a poetic piece of art? You should try it…it’s awesome!

I needed this today.
Struggling with things around here,
wondering what I should do/where to turn.
Then I see this gift in front of me, thank YOU~
you are just amazing.

I love when you upload images from the camera and you realise you’ve been drawn to something you’ve never really noticed before. There is certainly enough rain around here at the moment to give this a go!

Inspiring, Maegan. Sometimes there is beauty in a rainy day, too.

Loved the description of the brick wall, going to try and see one of my moods as a poetic piece of art.

Oh Meagan, I need to learn this art because that it is beautiful. Most of what I do reflects happiness..brightness… and when I do not have these feelings, I really do not know what to shoot.
Your posts always keep me thinking. Thanks

Interesting. I was just thinking about the haze the holiday season puts me in, or maybe the haze I fall into, or maybe the haze I use to make it through? Anyway, now I wonder what I looks like through my lens.

beauty filled images .. shared a link in my space today

LOVE this!! The style of your photos lately has been great – I just adore it. Especially these.
