June Afternoons…

Pink blossoms, pastel Eater eggs, green grass, blue jeans on the clothes line, yellow forsythia, rosy cheeked running children…no it is not June yet but spring is definably here! But June has come early to one corner of the world…a very beautiful corner!

June Afternoons is a fundraising collaboration of some very talented photographers. I have to pinch myself each time I remember that I am among them! Beth Fletcher of I Should Be Folding Laundry lost her twin boys when she was nineteen weeks pregnant and has been an advocate for the March of Dimes ever since.

June Afternoons is an Etsy shop that, until May 31, 2011, will be donating all of the proceeds from the sale of each print, gallery wrap or book to the March for Babies, March of Dimes in honor her sons, James and Jake. Right now, they are halfway to our team goal of $5,000!

Besides myself, other artists who have donated prints are…

Tracey Clark   www.shuttersisters.com
Aimee Giese   www.greeblemonkey.com
Kristen Doyle   www.dineandish.com
Emily Freeman   www.chattingatthesky.com
Keli Hoskins   www.kidnappedbysuburbia.com
Mishelle Lane www.secretagentmama.com
Lisa Leonard   www.lisaleonardonline.com
Casey Mullins   www.mooshinindy.com

Beth would love it if you would help her spread the word about this great little shop with a really big heart! She has made the pot extra sweet by entering the names of all who kindly put a June Afternoons button somewhere on their blog into a drawing for a $50 gift card to Anthropologie!!! {lucky ducks!!!} So pop right over here and download a button, put it on your blog and link it to the address…

…and then hop over to Beth’s and let her know!

Thank you for helping us spread the love!
