The Chill of Not Quite Yet…

Spring is most definitely taking its sweet time getting here this year. But I’m trying to tell myself what I tell my children when they grab at something that’s inevitably coming their way…it’s coming…you just need to be patient.

So patience I am learning. And my new cozy, made by me Caponcho is helping to take the bite out of the lingering chill in the air.

This was a really fun knit! I used Quince & Co.’s Osprey yarn in Snap Pea…a deep need for green welling in my soul. It’s soft and warm and I’ve worn it nearly every day since it was finished.

Along with my Caponcho, I’m trying to squeeze all the blessings out of this in between time that I can muster: good books, new knitting projects, hot tea…Spring will push us out and about and away from these cozy days soon enough.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, friends!

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya Maegan…………beautiful photos. I would love to take that first photo of your and crop out just your hand holding the flowers to paint. May I have your permission to do so? If so, would you email me a copy of the photo as permission. It’s right up my alley………..

Oh, I love your attitude! I’ve been pushing for spring I’ve forgotten just how much I also love the cozy times.

It’s beautiful…the color and pattern looks lovely on you.

Wow…I’m so impressed with your caponcho! It does look fantastic on you! It’s so true, the cozy times will be over before we know it and come August we will be looking forward to fall again, I do love the change of the seasons though.

I’m very much loving your nod to green on this St Patrick’s day! And of course you know I think that caponcho rocks, as do those self-portraits :)
